Ingredients to make tartiflette al reblochon – French gratin potatoes:
8 medium potatoes
1 large onion
200 grams of bacon
1 piece of cheese rebloochon
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of ground black pepper
1 pinch of ground garlic
ADDITIONAL CHARACTERISTICS: MIDDLE COST,

Ingredients to make tartiflette al reblochon – French gratin potatoes:

1. To elaborate this tartiflette at Reberochon, first we peel the potatoes, cut them into pieces and put them in a saucepan. We cover them with water and put them to cook until they are soft but firm since they will end up in the oven. When we are cooked and reserve.

2. We cut the bacon into pieces, put it in a pan and fry it.

Trick: It is not necessary to add oil. It will be enough with the fat that releases the bacon.

3. We peel and cut our onion into a fine julienne. If you do not like to find pieces of onion in the potatoes gratin with cheese I advise you to chop it.

4. We take out the bacon when done and in that pan, with the fat it has left, we put the onion and fry it until it is transparent.

Trick: If necessary we can add some droplets of olive oil.

5. When the onion is done (we will know it because it is soft and transparent) we add the bacon and the potatoes cooked to the pan and mix well. We also add salt to taste, a little ground pepper and garlic powder. Garlic and pepper are optional, but I like the touch they give it.

6. We pour our ingredients from the tartiflette recipe in a source suitable for the oven. Next, we cut the Rebechon cheese into pieces and have them on the potatoes ensuring that most of the surface is covered.

Trick: If we do not find rebloochon cheese we can replace it with another Brie or Brique cheese.

7. We introduce the potatoes in the oven with cheese and bacon (preheated at 180º c) and bake them until the cheese has melted. We finally take the tartiflette to the reblochon from the oven, we serve it and enjoy!
