Ingredients to make capes huanzontles:
1. In the following image you can observe the ingredients that we will need for the preparation of these delicious capezontles.
2. We are going to start by placing our bunch of Huanzontles in water to disinfect them perfectly.
3. Meanwhile we will begin with the preparation of the sauce: for this we place in the glass of the blender the clean red tomatoes, together with the onion, the garlic, a pinch of salt and we proceed to liquefied until obtaining a homogeneous sauce.
4. This tomato sauce we are going to place it in a saucepan with previously heated oil and let it be cold for approximately 10 minutes. Once ready we remove it from heat and reserve a moment.
5. Once our bunches of Huenzontle are disinfected now if we proceed with its preparation: we start beating the egg whites very well until they are nougat.
6. On the other hand we take some sprigs of Huanzontle and accommodate them as seen in the following image, in the central part we will place some strand cheese.
7. Now we compact the twigs well to take shape and go to cover them with a little wheat flour.
