Ingredients to make Caliu potatoes:

1. The first step to prepare the potatoes at Caliu is to gather all the ingredients.

2. We wash the potatoes well with hot water and split them in long segments without removing the skin. Cook the potatoes in boiling water with salt for approximately 10 minutes (until they begin to be soft but without getting rid).

3. We drain the potatoes and have them in a baking sheet with a pinch of salt and a stream of oil. We put in the oven at 200 ºC, lighting only the upper part.

4. Meanwhile we prepare the dressing: we chop the very fine parsley, the garlic in sheets and we macerate everything in a bowl with olive oil.

5. When the potatoes are golden, we take them out of the oven and season them with the oil we have prepared. If you like Catalan recipes such as Caliu potatoes, you can try the delicious scalast or the classic brave potato lid.
