Ingredients to make baked sweet potato sticks:
1. We gather all the ingredients to make the baked sweet potato sticks.
2. We start peeling the sweet potato and removing all the dark parts.
3. We cut the sweet potato in rods not too fine or thick, of approximately 1.5 centimeter.
4. We introduce the sweet potatoes in water for at least 30 minutes. If we leave it a little more in water we will make more crispy.
5. In a bowl we mix the spices with olive oil: we add the curry, salt, pepper and turmeric. We mix well and add the sweet potato so that flavors are integrated. Let us impregnate the little ones.
6. We place the drained canes in a baking sheet and cook them in the oven at 190 ºC for 20 minutes.
7. Once cooked, we place the sweet potatoes on absorbent paper so that they lose any excess oil and enjoy. You can leave these crispy sticks, you can leave them on the table as an appetizer or serve them as garrison of your favorite dinner or food.
