1. We peel the carrots and cut them into fine canes or slices, as we like. For this step, the ideal is to use the same pelapatatas or a mandolin, since thus the slices will be much faster and homemade chips at their point.
2. Now, we introduce chopped carrots in a large bowl, add salt to taste and oil, and mix with the hands to make them permeate completely. If you want, you can add spices such as thyme, rosemary, oregano or pepper to give an extra touch of flavor to carrot chips.
3. We place the carrot slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and preheat the oven to 170 ºC. Once hot, bake the carrot chips for approximately 10-15 minutes, or until we see that they are crispy.
