Ingredients to make baked stuffed mussels:

1. To prepare the baked mussels, we must gather all the ingredients.





2. We wash the mussels with cold water and remove the impurities. We put the mussels in a high temperature pot, until they open. Once open, take the meat from the mussels out of the shells and reserve. The shells must be very clean.





3. We chop and fry the onion and red pepper. We salt and pepper.





4. We chop the meat of the mussels and the surimi, and add it to the sauce. We cook a couple of minutes.





5. We prepare the bechamel for baked mussels. We heat three tablespoons of oil or butter in a pot, add the flour while stirring. After 2 minutes we add the flour, incorporate milk, salt and pepper. When we add the egg yolk and mix.





6. We mix the bechamel with the sauce, fill the shells and cover with breadcrumbs.
