Maracuyá chili ingredients:

1. The first step to perform the Maracuyá chili is to prealist the ingredients. The chili sauce is sold liquid in any supermarket or specialized store and is used for the preparation of this type of homemade peppers.

2. In a bowl add the passion fruit pulp, if you want you can remove the pepas with the help of a strainer and just leave the passion fruit juice in the bowl. In my case, I wanted to leave the pepas within the preparation to give a different touch and texture. Add fruit vinegar and mix these two ingredients well.

3. Add the tomato, the long onion and the white onion. Mix all the ingredients of our pepper recipe for empanadas.

4. Add a pinch of salt, black pepper and to balance flavors and that our chili does not go so acidic add a pinch of sugar. Mix these ingredients well until they integrate.

5. Finally, add the finely chopped fresh coriander, with the chili sauce and a touch of garlic paste to give an extra flavor to our recipe, if you want to omit garlic you can do it perfectly. The amount of spicy depends on the taste of diners.

6. The ideal is that we obtain a homemade pepper like the one seen in the photograph.

7. serves the passion fruit pepper with any snack you want, remember that the amount of spicy depends on the cook, they can do it soft, medium or very spicy. The chili is ideal to accompany virtually any food, especially Colombian typical empanadas.
