Rice and chickpea salad recipe

Ingredients to make rice and chickpea salad:
120 grams of rice (the variety you like the most)
150 grams of chickpeas cooked boat
1 broccoli
1 handful of nuts to taste
100 grams of lettuce or any green leaf
1 carrots
1 pinch of salt to taste to taste
1 jet of olive oil
1 pinch of chopped parsley to taste (oregano, basil or other aromatic spice)

Ingredients to make rice and chickpea salad:

1. Wash and cook the rice in boiling water following the indications of the package. We have used round white rice and added some red rice, but you can use any variety of rice you have at home. When you are at approximately 10-15 minutes, tell it and pass it for cold water to cut the cooking.



Trick: If you use common rice, remember that the proportion is 2 cups of water for 1 cup of rice.





2. While the rice is cooked, take advantage of also cooking the separate broccoli in small trees. You can make steamed or boiled broccoli. In any case, it usually takes 8-10 minutes to be ready, so that it is and stop it for cold water to continue with the rice and chickpea salad.



Trick: We recommend using grated carrot, but you could also cook it with the broccoli without problem.
