Pakistani rice recipe

Wash the rice and soak 10 minutes.

2 cups of basmati
4 cups of water
4 tablespoons of oil
1 onion
1 laurel leaf
0.5 teaspoons of black pepper
0.5 teaspoons of cumin
2 branches of cinnamon
1 pellizco de nutmeg
1 salt

Ingredients to make Pakistani rice:

2. Chop the onion in small pieces.

3. Have all spices prepared in the amount indicated.

4. Fry the caebolla in the oil until brown.

5. Add and fry all spices.

6. Add the rice, stirring a minute to mix everything well.

7. Finally add the water, boil with high heat without cover, until the rice form holes.

8. Then lower the heat and cover until the water evaporates.

9. Remove from the heat and let stand, before eating, about 10-15 minutes.

10. Salt is added during cooking and to taste.
