Mashi recipe or Egyptian rice

The Mashi is a traditional recipe of Egyptian cuisine that consists of a plate of rice with meat, spices and nuts. Being a vegan recipe without ingredients of animal origin that I share with recipes, we will replace the meat with the seitan, an excellent source of plant protein, whose texture is greatly resembled that of the meat. The Mashi or Egyptian rice is a very simple, delicious and healthy dish, full of tradition and history that will surprise you with its aromas and textures.
