Ingredients to make majadito:

1. Boil the puddle in a pot with water until it is tender. For those who do not know this product, the Charque, also known as Charqui, is generally dehydrated meat of cow. It can be replaced by chicken, duck, turkey … The Charque is widely used in the Andean area throughout South America and began as a way of preserving meat for great periods of time. Currently, it is used for all kinds of elaborations, such as tamales, stews, empanadas …

2. When the puddle is ready, strain the meat and reserve the liquid for later. Snove the charque and jump into a pan with a little hot oil.

3. Cut all vegetables into small cubes.

4. In a pot, add a little oil and saute the chopped vegetables when hot. First add the garlic and onion and, then, when the onion is transparent, it incorporates the peppers. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Trick: The traditional majadito is usually orange, which is obtained by skipping seeds from Urucú (Achiote). If you use them, you should save them before and remove them to skip the vegetables.

5. When the vegetables are all tender, add the rice and jump it for a few minutes. In this way, the majadito is much tastier.

6. Pour the water you had reserved for cooking of the Charque. In general, to cook rice properly two parts of water must be added for each part of rice.

Trick: In case of not having enough with the cooking water of the puddle, you can add some broth or water.

7. Let the ingredients integrate a bit and, then add the Charque. Mix and let the Charques majadito cook for approximately 18 minutes. After this time, cover the pot and leave it for 2 more minutes to the fire so that the rice absorbs the liquid and all flavors are integrated.

8. While the rice is cooked, prepare the other part of the majadito, the banana. To do this, peel the bananas, cut them in half throughout and cook them fried in a pan with very hot oil. You can also make them grilled, but they must be very golden.

9. Finally, cook the fried eggs to crown the recipe of Bolivian Majadito. If you prefer, you can cook the grilled eggs.

10. For the assembly of the plate, place the rice with the puddle and vegetables at the base, place a half banana on each side and, above, a fried egg. Clever! You already have your Bolivian Majadito recipe prepared to serve. This foul is really delicious and can be done with different types of meat.
