Chicken and vegetable paella recipe

What better than a paella to share with the family. The chicken paella with vegetables is the perfect excuse to drink a beer, wine or soda with friends while cooking this great typical dish of Spanish cuisine. If you want to try something with a lot of tradition, here we have an exquisite chicken paella, for 6 or 7 people, but I would eat it for me.

Ingredients to make chicken and vegetable paella:
1 jet of olive oil
2 cups of rice
500 grams of clams
500 grams of prawns
750 grams of chicken
1 onion unit
2 units of green pepper
1 Red pepper unit
2 garlic envelopes

Ingredients to make chicken and vegetable paella:

1. We start by washing our hands very well, place the kitchen and mess. To wash the clams, row them in a small pot with water halfway. Leave them for about 5 minutes to eliminate all the land inside.





2. Once the earth is eliminated, rinse well and take a pan with a little oil to medium fire. We saute the clams until they open, finally we add some salt.





3. Once the clams has been prepared, take the chicken meat and throw it into the pan with a little oil. We saute the chicken for approximately 10 minutes and we will remove from time to time over medium heat. On the other hand we put the prawns in a pot for 10-15 minutes, until they are cooked.





4. While the meat is being done and the prawns are cooked, we are preparing the vegetable. Short in very small taquitos, the onion, the two garlic cloves, the tomato, the green pepper and the red pepper, we cut into several thin strips part of the red pepper to add it to the end.





5. The meat is removed from the fire and placed in a tray. With the same meat oil we cook the refrito in high heat for about 3 minutes. Add the garlic cloves and peas to the entire refrito.





6. Once finished, add the meat and 2 cups of rice so that it takes the taste of the entire refrito for at least 8 – 10 minutes over low heat.





7. Remove the prawns of the Ollita and Peel them, the broth is thrown in the refrito, we add black pepper and salt. Cook everything for about 25-30 minutes.





8. When only 10 minutes are added the clams and prawns. Everything is left slowly during the remaining 10 minutes.





9. Take the strips of the red peppers and fry them over high heat for a few minutes, while frying, cut the lemon into slices and add it on the surface of the paella with chicken and vegetables. TAKE ADVANTAGE!
