Ingredients to make vegetarian lentil soup:
1. The first thing you should do is enlist all ingredients for the elaboration of vegetarian soup.
2. The lentils you must leave them with water at least 4 hours before or if you can, leave them all the previous night, this in order to open and remain much softer
3. In a wide pot with a little oil, the longly cut-sized long onion sauties 3 minutes over high heat.
4. Then, add the grated or chopped tomato in fine cubes with the pepas and kitchen 3 more minutes, as a secret you can add a tablespoon of tomato paste, add salt and pepper to taste.
5. Then add 2 large cups of water and lid, kitchen until the broth is boiling.
6. Once the broth is boiling, add the lentils and remain cooked over high heat but with the pot covered for 5 minutes.
7. Finally, after 5 minutes add the vegetable, rectify taste with salt and pepper and cook the lentil soup over low heat for half an hour more with the covered pot. If you wish you can add a few potatoes cut into cubes to thicken the soup.
