Santiaguero Jigote Recipe

I remember this recipe from my grandmother, I have seen jigote soup recipes from several Latin American countries but different from my grandmother and I propose it, she did it to pass a fever or bad digestion, very timely by the way, easy and fast of doing.

Ingredients to make Santiaguero Jigote:
1/4 Libra of gross meat without fat, nor pellejos
1/4 of a medium onion
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 MAZO DE COLONTRO FESCO
2 medium potatoes or 1 large
1 twig of thyme
3 pimintas sweet
1 fresh parsley macito
salt

Ingredients to make Santiaguero Jigote:

2. 1- In a casserole pour 3 cups of water and add the condiments and salt to taste, cover and boil approximately 15 minutes until you get a broth.

3. 2-Peel the potatoes and chop them in small squares, such as dice, and add them to the broth by incorporating half a cup of water.

4. 3-to boil with the casserole covered for 15 minutes, without letting be too thickened.

5. 4-Serve in a cup or deep dish in such a way that the patient can consume it in bed if necessary.
