Ingredients to make onion cream:
1. In a pot put the four peeled and cut onions in halves add a liter of water and cook until they open.
2. To continue preparing the onion cream, add some salt and empty the water with the onions in the blender and grind until you get a homogeneous liquid. If you do not have blender you can use a pica everything or a juice processor. Add about 10 to 15 fresh basil leaves to soften the taste of onion.
3. Pour the mixture again to the pot and let it slow a few minutes, then turn off the heat and add the cream. Stir well and correct the seasoning of the onion cream if necessary.
4. Serve the very hot onion cream and decorate with fried bacon strips or roasted bread. If you want you can use this same recipe to prepare an ideal onion sauce for meats or fish, for this, just reduce the cream over low heat until it thickens enough.
