Valentina chicken ingredients:

1. Cook the chicken in water with the onion, the carrot, the garlic and the parsley. Season with a little salt and let everything boil until the chicken is made. You can chop the carrot and onion to release its flavor. Then drain the pole and reserve pieces.

2. To make the sauce add the onion, garlic, vinegar and jug of the can of the jalapeños (reserve the jalapeños to decorate the plate) in the blender, move everything together until you get a sauce. Then this first sauce passes through a strainer and liquefold again with the rest of the ingredients.

3. Then bathe the chicken in the tomato sauce and fry it in hot oil. Reserve the rest of the sauce to accompany the dish.

4. If you want to serve Valentina as originally done in Mexico, place chicken pieces on an oval dish and then cover them with the rest of the sauce. As a garnish, we recommend serving the typical cooked potatoes and if you want, you can finish decoration with the jalapeños cut into strips on a separate plate.

5. Valentina chicken is typical of the city of Guadalajara and is also accompanied by Birote Pan. This dish is ideal to surprise your partner in Valentines Day or to serve in a special meal.
