Turkey recipe stuffed with chestnuts

Fill: chop the onion, garlic and shallots; Chop the bacon in large and irregular pieces; Soak the bread crumb in hot milk.

Ingredients to make turkey stuffed with chestnuts:
For 6 people ::
1 turkey of about 4 kg
300 gr. of bite veal
150 gr. from Bacon Ahumado
1 medium onion
3 shalotas
2 cloves of garlic
4 tablespoons of chopped parsley
200 gr. of natural chestnuts (canned)
100 gr. of bread crumb
1 glass of the milk wine
1 egg
salt and
pepper

Ingredients to make turkey stuffed with chestnuts:

2. drain, peel and chop the chestnuts.

3. In a pan, fry the bacon over very soft heat, when the fat drops the onion, garlic and shallots.

4. In a salad bowl put the chopped veal, chestnuts, the content of the pan, the parsley, the crumb of drained bread, the beaten egg, salt and pepper to taste and mix everything very well.

5. Fill the turkey with the mixture and subsequently sew the opening.

6. Put the piece on a rack inside a baking sheet and throw on it a little salted hot water or white wine.

7. Preheat the strong oven (about 210ºC) and roast the turkey for about 2- 2 1/2 hours, giving it from time to time during cooking.

8. You can prepare a garnish of peeled and roasted chestnuts along with the turkey to which some butter can be added.
