Smoked turkey recipe

The turkey not only consumes Thanksgiving or Christmas, but we can enjoy its flavor throughout the year, since it is a delicious and very healthy protein meat. Since the sixteenth century, which was brought to Spain by the Jesuits, its flesh has been consumed for being very versatile and healthy, in addition to providing food even to the largest families. Over the years, its popularity has been extended throughout the world and, today, is one of the most appreciated foods. On this occasion, we are going to prepare a simple smoked turkey recipe filled to the orange, although the filling can vary, as we will see below. INGREDIENTS TO MAKE SMOKED FILLING:

1. To make this smoked turkey stuffed we recommend buying a smoked turkey. In case of being frozen, you must let it leave quietly for three days in the fridge, assuming that it has a weight that is around 4 kilos.





2. To start with the smoked turkey filling, peel the garlic teeth, onion and ginger, cut these ingredients into medium pieces and reserve them for a moment. Lavor and cut the tomatoes, one of them reserve it with previous foods and the other leave it apart.





3. incorporates in the glass of the blender or an electric blender one of the tomatoes, the onion, the garlic and the ginger. Add half clean Chile, that is, without the seeds, salt to taste, basil oil, wine and crushing for 2 minutes.





4. spread the inside of the turkey with a little sauce and then cut the orange and the lemons in rooms and some slices that you will reserve to decorate the smoked turkey stuffed. Enter the pieces of tomato and citrus fruits into the thoracic cavity, carefully pushing the thighs so that they do not break. 5. When it is well stuffed, bathe the turkey on the outside with the rest of the crushed sauce and pour the glass of water in the tray so that the smoked turkey stuffed with more juice. Deposits the rigged and/or orange on the turkey that you had reserved

6. Preheat the oven to 200 ºC with heat up and down, if you have a better air turbine, if you do not matter, you will have more time roasting. 7. Every half hour you can bathe the turkey with its own sauce with the help of a ladle. If you want more sauce, add some water on the tray and keep roasting the piece. Watch the oven so you can calculate the point you want your smoked turkey to be filled to the orange or with the chosen filling.





8. Take out the turkey from the oven when it is ready and trill it, there you will check its juice point. With this simple recipe you will have a spectacular stuffed turkey stuffed, and best of all, you can prepare it by changing the filling every time you do it.
