Baked chicken breast recipe with lemon and honey

1 chicken breast
for the sauce:
1 lemon
1 jet of olive oil
2 cloves of garlic
1 pinch of thyme
1 pinch of salt
1 jet of white wine (optional)
1½ tablespoons of honey

Ingredients to make baked chicken breasts with lemon and honey:

1. Before getting to work with the chicken recipe, we squeeze the lemon, fille the breasts and reserve them to prepare the lemon and honey sauce. To do this, we take a bowl and mix with a spoon or spatula the lemon juice with honey, a generous stream of oil, salt, thyme to taste and well chopped garlic cloves. If you prefer, you can use garlic powder or garlic paste. Likewise, you can replace the thyme with Romero.



Trick: You can add more or less honey, to your liking!





2. We place the chicken breasts fillets on a tray or vessel suitable for oven and, with a kitchen brush, we spread the anterior sauce on each steak.





3. Then, we pour the remaining lemon and honey sauce to cover all fillets. Once covered, let the chicken stand for 20-30 minutes to permeate well with the aroma and taste of the ingredients. If you have more time, you can leave it up to an hour.



Trick: When there are 15 minutes, we preheat the oven at 200 ºC.





4. After the rest time, we bake the chicken breasts with lemon and honey for 7-10 minutes. Then, remove the tray, turn the fillets and distribute a stream of white wine. The latter is optional, but I recommend that you do it to soften the sauce. We bake another 7-10 minutes again.





5. After the second half of baked, we turn the fillets again and try the sauce. If when you try it you consider that the lemon and honey flavor is too intense, you can always add some water to reduce it. We bake again until the meat is made. And ready!
