On this occasion I bring a vegan recipe for seitan meatballs in simple sauce that is full of proteins of plant origin from the gluten of wheat and chickpeas, therefore, it is a great option for athletes and people who want to take care of themselves. These are seitán vegan meatballs with chickpeas accompanied by a homemade sauce that retains all the taste of vegetables. Apart from the sauce you can serve the meatballs with vegetables, salad, rice or pasta.
Ingredients to make seitán vegan meatballs: |
1½ cups of gluten from wheat 1 cup of cooked chickpeas 1 cup of vegetable broth 3 cloves of garlic 2 carries 1 jet of soy sauce para the sauce :: 1 onion 2 cloves of garlic 2 carrots 1 tablespoon of oil 1 cup crushed tomato ½ cup of water (120 milliliters) 1 teaspoon of salt 5 basil leaves 2 laurel leaves ½ glass of wine |

Ingredients to make seitán vegan meatballs:
1. Pela and chop the onion, garlic and carrot.
2. Enter the vegetable into the blender and listen to it in very small pieces. Reserve the vegetable.
3. Enter the chickpeas in the blender and crush them as well.
4. In a mixture bowl, chickpeas and vegetables, add wheat gluten, vegetable broth and soy sauce. Mix until you get an elastic homogeneous mass.
5. Shape balls with your hands, pass them by wheat flour and fry the vegan seitán meatballs in a pan with hot oil.
6. Prepare the salsa of the Seitán meatballs finely chopping onion, garlic and carrot. Heat a pan with oil and prepare a stir -fry with the vegetable.
7. Add the minced basil, crushed tomato, salt, bay leaf, wine and water with the pan. Remove well and cook until it breaks to boil. Keep the boil over medium heat stirring from time to time. When the sauce is reduced and thickened, remove the bay leaves, pour the sauce into the blender and crush it until it is homogeneous.
8. Pour the sauce already crushed into the pan. Write it down and incorporate vegan seitan meatballs.
