1. We gathered all the ingredients to prepare these lentils with easy chorizo. Remember that for cooking legumes like these, you must soak them at least 2 hours before preparation.
2. In a pot, I fry the whole garlic with the onion cut into medium pieces. We let them cook for 4 minutes.
3. Next, we add the pepper cut into not very large pieces, as seen in the image. We let another 3 minutes cook.
4. We incorporate the grated tomato, we put salt, white pepper and a little ground cumin. We move and let it cook for 4 minutes over low heat.
5. Add the peeled and cut carrots into not very thin slices. We stir.
6. Add the drained lentils, cover with water and add a little more salt. We let the lentils be cooked for approximately 25 minutes.
7. Finally, we add the chorizo ​​cut into slices, let it cook 5 minutes and remove.
Trick: If you want you can add other sausages such as black pudding, salty ribs or bacon.
