Ingredients to make the Mallorcan mere: |
For 4 people :: 6 slices of 250 gr. Each 1000 gr. of onions 500 gr. of mature tomatoes 1 twig of fresh parsley 1 head of garlic 1500 gr. of potatoes 1 glass of white wine 1/2 liter of olive oil 50 gr. from raisins 20 gr. from piñones 8 bundles of sauce a bunch of parsley a pinch of pepper salt a glass of white wine. |
Ingredients to make the Mallorcan mere:
2. Cut the onions in half and wash them.
3. Once washed cut the onions, garlic, parsley, very small sofritos and tomatoes.
4. Put the olive oil to heat in a large clay casserole.
5. Then go placing the slices of mere in that casserole to brown.
6. Once they have taken color, take them out and reserve them.
7. Then, and in the same oil where we have fried the fish, we will save the onions, the strokes, the parsley, the garlic and the tomatoes until everything is half cooked.
8. The potatoes cut into slices not too thick are then placed in a source.
9. On these are the slices of mero and the whole set with a glass of good quality white wine is irrigated.
10. At the same time all the sauce is poured on top and spread, as a traditional touch, the pine nuts and the raisins over.
11. Finish cooking by having the fish source in the oven for about twenty minutes at a gentle temperature.
