A Dominican recipe with Caribbean and tropical flavor. Coconut fish is a typical dish quite easy to prepare that you can serve to surprise everyone at home.

Ingredients to make coconut fish:
1. Keep in mind that for this typical Dominican recipe you can use any type of white fish. Once all the ingredients have gathered, finely pike onion and crush the garlic cloves.
2. Place the fish on a flat and season with a mixture of oregano, salt and half of the garlic. It spreads the fillets everywhere and lets the flavor absorb about 5-10 minutes.
3. Next, heat a pan with half of the ingredients oil and sauté the fish until it is very golden. Remove and drain with absorbent paper to remove excess oil. Reserve.
4. In another wide saucepan, heat the rest of the oil along with the onion and the rest of the garlic. Make a stir -fry and leave in the fire until the onion begins to get transparent.
5. Add the coriander, tomato sauce and coconut milk. Let cook over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Finally, add the fried fish to this saucepan and mix to permeate well with the sauce. Try not to break the fillets. Kitchen covered for about 8-10 more minutes until coconut sauce reduces a little and ready.
7. It serves the fish with Dominican coconut and accompanies with a white rice, banana slices or a green salad with avocado.
