Ingredients to make cod timbal:

1. To prepare this easy fish recipe you can use both denial cod and in fillets, what I do advise you is that you buy it already desalted to simplify. The mayonnaise you can replace it with tomato sauce, if you prefer, while the red peppers are from the piquillo, although you can also use homemade roasts.





2. We start boiling the peeled and chopped potatoes to make a thick potato puree, which will become the base of the cod timbal.





3. While the potatoes are cooked, in a pan heat a splash of oil and fry the cod; With a few minutes it will be enough.





4. We leave the cod ready in the pan and have just prepared the mashed potatoes. We will chafar the cooked potatoes with a fork, add a stream of oil and the juice of half a lemon and a little Maldon salt.





5. We can start placing this cod recipe so attractive. To do this, we need a ringing ring; I have manufactured it with a boat tube, although you can also use a can of tomato sauce. At the base of the cod timbale we have potato puree.





6. We cover the puree of potatoes with a layer of red peppers of the piquillo, which we will have drained and cut into strips.





7. On the peppers, we have the chopped cod, which we crowned with a spoonful of mayonnaise, or tomato sauce according to our tastes.





8. We withdraw very carefully the ringing ring, decorate the cod timbale with a parsley or coriander leaf and we can already serve it.
