Ingredients to make sweet empanadillas:

1. To prepare these delicious sweet empanadillas the first step will be to make the dough. To do this, mix flour with butter and salt. If you have a blender help with her. Add the cold water and continue mixing to form a uniform mixture. It forms a ball, wraps in transparent paper and leaves an hour in the fridge.

2. While the dough rests the filling. To do this, mix all the ingredients (except cornmeal) and let stand about 15 minutes. After this time, drain the liquid that will have released the mango and reserve. Add the cornmeal, mix well and add the liquid drained above.

3. To form the mango empanadillas, work the dough on a flat surface, previously floured and divided into two parts. Stretch the dough well, leaving it half a centimeter and cuts circles of about 8-10 centimeters in diameter.

4. Forage with parafined paper a baking tray and places half of the dough circles there. Add a small landfill portion in each circle and cover with the other half of the circles. To seal the empanadillas, moisten the edges with a little water and press everywhere. We let stand in the fridge for about 20 minutes.

5. past the rest time in the fridge, help yourself with a fork and make small holes at the top of each empanadilla. Then paint with the egg beaten and sprinkle sugar on top. Kitchen for 15 minutes at 180º or until you see that they are already golden on the surface.

6. Let stand a few minutes on a rack and enjoy. These sweet sheds of mango and basil are perfect for snack or to wear while we have a picnic afternoon.
