125 grams of panela (or brown sugar) 125 grams of softened butter 2 eggs l 50 milliliters of cream or milk cream 1 teaspoon of ground ginger 4 cardamomo pods 1 vanilla pod 175 grams of flour ( 1¼ cups) 1 tablespoon in powdered yeast (baking powder) 1 pinch of salt 125 grams of sugar 25 grams of butter 3 pears |

Ingredients to make inverted pear cake spicy with ginger:
1. We put the panela in a wide bowl along with the softened butter (you can put a few seconds in the microwave for it, but without melting at all). We beat with some rods.
2. Add an egg and beat up well. We add the other and incorporate into the mixture too.
3. We open the cardamom pods and put the seeds in a mortar. We finely crush.
4. We incorporate into the mixture the ground cardamom, the ginger and the seeds of the vanilla pod to continue with the mass of the inverted pear cake.
5. Mix the flour along with the yeast (baking powder) and salt. We sift on the mixture and remove everything well.
6. We preheat the oven at 180 ºC. We put the sugar with a few drops of water in a pan and make a candy with it.
7. We incorporate the butter cut into pieces and stir to dissolve.
8. We grease a round mold of 22 cm in diameter very well, either with oil, butter or some spray. Lets pour the caramel in the mold quickly. We peel the pears and cut them into sheets. Then, we put the pear pieces at the bottom of the mold.
9. We pour the dough above the pears and level. Bake the inverted pear cake at 180 ºC with heat up and down for 20 minutes.
