Ingredients to make cream donuts:
1. Beat the eggs with the sugar in a bowl large enough. Once these ingredients are well beaten, add the cream and lemon zest and mix.
Trick: If you prefer, you can do the cream and orange donuts.
2. Flore the flour and mix it with chemical yeast (baking powder). See the flour to the mixture little by little until it gets a manageable dough, but a little sticky. Even if you make the recipe for cream donuts, you will notice that the same amount of flour is not always needed, since this depends on what the mass asks. Therefore, it is important to add this ingredient little by little.
3. When you see that the dough is ready, leave it in the bowl, cover it with a kitchen cloth and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
4. After the rest time, take the dough, shape balls of the size of a nut and make the holes with the fingers. If you prefer some thicker spongy canoe donuts, you can make the ball larger, but keep in mind that they will grow quite a lot. To be able to handle the dough without sticking in the hands, in a bowl put a jet of sunflower oil and introduce the hands to always have them greased.
5. Heat a wide pan with sunflower oil and add lemon skin strips to aromatize it. When the oil is hot, fry the cream donuts on both sides until they are cooked. They should not burn, but either are raw inside.
Trick: You can cook the baked cream donuts by placing them on the tray lined with kitchen paper. The weather will be about 20 minutes at 180 ºC.
6. Remove the donuts out of the pan and reserve them on a plate with paper paper so that they release excess oil.
