1 kilogram of blackberries 900 grams of sugar (4½ cups) ½ glass of orange juice |

Ingredients to make blackberry jam:
1. To make the recipe, we wash the blackberries well. Then, we put them in a pot along with the sugar and orange juice and mix with a wooden spatula or spoon.
2. When we have removed well, we put the pot over low heat and let the jam for 1 hour, or until part of the juice has evaporated.
3. When ready, we can crush it with the blender to obtain a softer blackberry jam or leave it as is. We keep it in sterilized and lid glass jars, since if we keep it closed it can last up to one year. This jam is ideal to complement a cheese cake.
