250 milliliters of milk
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
2 tablespoons of maicena
1 egg yolk
1 branch of cinnamon (optional)

Ingredients to make a custard to the microwave:

1. Mix the cornstarch with the sugar using a spoon, manual rods or fork. You can use common sugar or icing sugar. Likewise, if you do not have cornfield you can replace it with rice flour, the amount is the same. In case of wanting to aromatize the cream with the cinnamon branch, we recommend separating 50 ml of milk and heat it for 1 minute to the microwave with the cinnamon.

5. Heat the pastry cream to the microwave for 2 minutes at maximum power. After this time, retir it, mix with the rods and turn it to heat in half -minute or minute intervals, depending on how powerful your microwave is.





6. Remove the cream every time you add time and remove for a few seconds. As you batter, you will see that the thick cream. You will be ready when you acquire the typical custard consistency and you can form drawings with the rods. In our case, we have had to heat it for a total of 5 minutes, adding intervals of 1 minute to prevent it from burning. But as we said at the beginning, if your microwave is very powerful, it is possible that with 3 minutes it is enough. On the contrary, if it is less powerful, you may need a little more time.





7. And voila! You already have your custard to the microwave prepared to use. If you are not going to use it immediately, we recommend you cover it with a sheet of film paper, so that it touches the cream directly. In this way, a thick bed on the surface will not be created. When it cools, it is possible that thickens a little more, you should simply beat with the rods and thats it.
