Ingredients to make chocolate and coffee nougat step by step:
1. We begin by putting a pot with water and on top we put a metallic or glass bowl, which is in contact with the water. In the bowl we will place the chocolate with milk and the chocolate chopped black and we will wait for the heat of the water to boil to melt them. We can remove from time to time as soon as they begin to melt.
2. When they are melted, we remove the saucepan from the fire but leave the bowl inside. Add the lard (better if it is at room temperature) and wait about five minutes. The heat of chocolate and casserole water should make it soften and allow us to remove until integrating with chocolate. We add a pair of soup tokens of coffee and mix well until it dissolves to continue with the recipe for chocolate and coffee nougat.
3. We pour into the mold that we have chosen (I love these chocolate-shaped that are the ideal size to prepare an assortment of nougat and give them away) and we decorate with some pieces of barquillo, the remains that are left in the can and so we take advantage of them, and if we want some entire waffles.
4. We wait for it to set, if necessary when it is cold we can cover and save in the refrigerator, and enjoy! This chocolate and homemade coffee nougat is perfect to serve as dessert, accompanied by other Christmas sweets, such as chocolate and oreo nougat or homemade polvorones.
