2. wet the sugar with 2.5 l of water and make a syrup, heating it over low heat and stirring until it dissolves.
3. Let it cool to room temperature and incorporate the brandy.
4. Mix well and put in the fridge to cool completely.
5. Pour this syrup on cherries.
6. Cover the bottles tightly and let macerate at least a week.
