Apple cake recipe with cornstarch

Last week my father was the birthday of my father and, although we will celebrate it shortly with my brothers and grandchildren, who were not in Madrid, we wanted . For this I prepared a delicious apple cake with cornstarch. Something simple but that we love, and that would be the ideal end for this little great celebration, which for that was my dads birthday 🙂 We were delighted. Ingredients to make apple cake with cornstarch:
4 units of golden apples
400 grams of yogurt 0 Porch type Greek
4 units of eggs xl
180 grams of sugar or equivalent sweetener (I sukrin in equal proportion)
70 grams of cornstarch or other flour you prefer.
2 tablespoons of peach jam (in my case without sugar) to decorate

Ingredients to make apple cake with cornstarch:

1. We start doing the apple cake with cornstarch peeling and discouraging the apples and cutting three of them in pieces. We will use the remaining to decorate so, after peeling it like the previous ones, we cut it into fine slices with a mandolin and reserve it.





2. We put the apples in pieces in a large bowl and add the rest of the ingredients: sugar or sweetener, yogurt, eggs and cornfield (or other flour), and crush with the blender until obtaining a homogeneous mixture.



Trick: I use almond flour many times but with the cornfield the apple cake will be somewhat firmer.





3. We grease an oven mold (better unmold). I did not realize and I did not use it and then I had to do wonders so that I did not break the cake when unmolding. Remember the slices of apple on top and it is better not to have to go around the mold). We pour the mixture of the apple cake without cornmeal in the mold.





4. Next, we place the apple slices above, carefully, and put the baked apple cake already hot at 180ºC about 60-80 minutes according to the oven power, until when you puncture with a stick it comes out clean. Let the apple cake cool before unmolding it and when it is cold, add the jam on top.



Trick: If it is a very dense type of jam we can clarify it with some water so that it is easier for us to extend it.





5. Finally, we put the apple-free apple cake easy to the fridge to cool several hours. The more the better. I did it in the afternoon and left it in the fridge until the next day, that we take it in food. This apple cake with cornstarch is very rich, it is almost like a flan, something more consistent but nothing heavy. Ideal for lovers of this fruit and desserts in general. Despite the simple recipe the result is great. He was truly rich and nothing was left over.
