Almond custard recipe

I love desserts, but I recognize that the cakes and cakes have always given me a little laziness, because in my house the sweets do not like much and I always have to zamparme all the delight in question. With individual desserts like these almond custards I do not have this problem … it is enough to reduce dose to adapt the recipe and prepare only three or four cups, as in this case. It is a dessert without cows milk protein, without lactose and gluten -free, so suitable for many cases of intolerance, although almond is an important allergen.

Ingredients to make almond custard:

1. The original recipe carries cows milk instead of almond milk, and wheat flour instead of cornmeal, but you see that I love to vary the recipes to adapt it to tastes and demands (today, a lactose-free recipe and No cows milk protein for my little ones). The almond is raw, not toasted, and in the photo you see it already chopped (with the picar function of the Turmix).





2. We go with the elaboration of these homemade custard with almond. In a bowl we beat the egg yolks (what can be done only with the leftover white of the eggs, does anyone know it?), We add the cornstarch and stir well.





3. In a pot mix the milk with the sugar and take it to a boil with the cinnamon branch.





4. When the milk breaks to boil, we turn off the heat and eliminate the cinnamon branch. We add the egg and cornstarch mixture, turn on the fire and leave it half low, and stir until the mixture thickens. We turn off the heat, add almost all of the chopped almond (we just leave a little to sprinkle the custard above later) and continue stirring.





5. We pour the almond custard in individual cups and let them cool. Then we sprinkle a little chopped almond and, if we like it, some cinnamon powder. We only have to reserve them in the fridge a minimum of two hours to taste them at their point … They are an ideal dessert to close any menu, mine that day was formed by this celery salad to lose weight (to then compensate the calories of the dessert!)
