How to mature a fast avocado

Save the avocado in a paper bag

This trick is one of the most widespread to mature an avocado and, according to many, is the most effective. It consists of putting the avocado in a paper bag (kraft or rough), creating a kind of air trap where ethylene gas will accumulate from the fruit itself. The trick in practice is very simple, simply follows steps:- Enter the avocado into a paper bag (Kraft or Straza paper bag) and call it. Verify that you have no hole.

– Take care of details such as temperature and lighting. Place the avocado in a place at room temperature (Aléjalo de la Luz Directa), that is, at an approximate temperature of 18 to 24 ºC.

– Verify if the fruit has matured in a period of 2-5 days.







Dip the avocado in flour

This is another complementary technique that you can apply next to the paper bag or the newspaper wrap. Similar to the previous tricks, you just have to follow these steps- place the avocado inside a newspaper or paper bag

– Add enough flour to submerge it completely.

– Close the bag.

– Put the bag or wrapping in a temperate or warm place (it can be in microwave or turned away).

Using this method, the results will be seen in less 24 hours.





Wraps avocado on aluminum foil

This method is quite fast and efficient, because you can mature an avocado in 10 minutes, and it is recommended for when you need to prepare an avocado or guacamole cream. However, the result does not like it so much, because it alters the taste a bit (bitter). If you decide to use it, follow these simple steps:- Wrap the avocado on aluminum foil. Some people make avocado surface before wrapping it, but if you don do the trick, it will also work.

– Place the wrapping on a baking sheet.

– Cook the avocado for 10 minutes at 150 ºC or 200 ºC. The temperature will depend on your oven.

– Take the avocado out of the oven, wait until it cools and learn it in the recipe you prefer.
