Mezcal Shot

Surely when you listen to the word Shot, you think of a good tequila drink. But not only tequila is taken like this, also mezcal. If you want to try pure mezcal, as is usually taken traditionally, this is the best way to enjoy without breath.

Ingredients

– 58 ml of mezcal

– 2 slices of lime (or sour orange segments)

– 1 CDTA salt (preferably worm salt)

– 1 mezcal shoot



Elaboration

– Prepare the shot glass. Rub a slice of Lima on the edge and adhere salt where you rubbed the lemon.

– Add the mezcal in the glass (only 29 ml).

Mojito with mezcal

The classic mojito originates in Cuba and contains rum, lemon, mint or eucalyptus and mineral water. In this version, the rum is changed by mezcal, agave honey is added and peppermint leaves are used. Ingredients

– 3 ice cubes

– 45 ml of white mezcal (preferably agave sword)

– 30 ml of agave honey

– 6 peppermint sheets (well washed and disinfected)

– 120 ml of mineral water

– 15 ml lemon juice

– Old Fashion vessel or that of your preference

– cocktail or normal spoon

– Mortar arm for cocktails



Elaboration

– Introduce the peppermint leaves, lemon juice and agave honey into the glass.

– Machaca the leaves, to grind them and feel the smell of peppermint. Use the mortar arm for this step.

– Pour the mezcal and remove the preparation. Use the spoon.

– Add the mineral water to fill the glass.

– If you feel like it, decorate with a branch of peppermint.

Jamaica mezcalini

Jamaicas flower or limestone is very popular in Mexico and also in other parts of the world for its taste and healing qualities. Its flavor is sour, very similar to the blueberry, so it usually is sweetened in infusions. In mixology it is used a lot in cocktails, in the form of syrup or concentrated infusion, and the mezcal is going great!

Ingredients

– 1 lemon juice

– 30 ml of Jamaica concentrate

– 30 ml of mezcal

– 6 ice cubes

– 2 lemon in slices

– 1 lemon to dig

– Worm salt

– Chile Piquín to taste



Elaboration

This drink contains liquor from Chile, which gives it that traditional spicy touch of Mexican cuisine.

– 60 ml of pineapple juice

– 15 ml of Espadín mezcal

– 60 ml of Romero syrup

– 60 ml Liquor of Chile Width



Elaboration

– Add in the shaker: pineapple juice, rosemary syrup and liquor.

– Shake for 20 seconds and then serve.

– Decorate with a wide chili and a sprig of rosemary.

Yield for 1 drink.





Stalk mezcal

Another famous in the world of mixology: Stalk mezcal. You can prepare it in meetings and parties, since it will leave you very well on any occasion. It is distinguished by its tropical touch, courtesy of pineapple, and its sweet taste, thanks to agave. These flavors can accentuate, mitigate or balance the taste of mezcal.

Ingredients

– 74 ml of yellow lemon juice

– 2 cdas of agave honey

– 74 ml of pineapple juice

– 15 ml of Espadín mezcal



Elaboration

– Choose your favorite glass and scan it with salt or chili (if it is salt, it is preferable that it be worm salt).

– Incorporates all the ingredients in the shaker and agitates.

– 1 pinch of Alcaravea and cumin

– 15 ml of Espadín mezcal

– Machaca the red Apazote leaves in a mortar or inside a glass.

– Incorporates all the ingredients in the shaker, stir very well.

Margarita de Mezcal y Sandía

Ingredients

– 4 fine slices of Jalapeño (seedless)

– 1/2 cup of mezcal

– 2 lemons (juice of one and the other to decorate)



Elaboration

– Blend the watermelon pieces. Do it until it is a juice.

– Stock the watermelon juice. Pour part of the liquid into an ice items and reserve the other part for drinks. Wait until the cubes freeze before continuing.

– Place the watermelon ice in two glasses.

– Pour 3/4 of the reserved watermelon juice and add the lemon juice.

– Introduce two Jalapeño slices in each glass.

– Add soda water and end with mezcal.
