Ingredients to make coconut horchata:

1. To start the coconut horchata recipe, in a bowl place the rice and cinnamon branch, add 1 cup and a half of water and soak it for a minimum of 3 hours. You can also take this step the night to leave rice in water throughout the night.

3. After liquefying the previous ingredients, empty the mixture in a jug or bowl passing it through a strainer to remove everything that could not be liquefied, so you will have a lighter and more soft mixture; Press the mixture very well in the strainer to make the most of the flavors.





4. Finally, add 1 liter of water, chopped ice to taste and serve. If you prefer, sprinkle some cinnamon powder, cover the edges of the glass with grated coconut and the homemade and traditional coconut horchata will be ready to enjoy.
