Ingredients to make vegan dead bread:
1. To start with the vegan dead bread recipe, first in a container mixes the warm water with yeast, a spoonful of sugar and a tablespoon of flour, mix very well until the ingredients are integrated by complement. Then, let stand for about 10-15 minutes in a warm space so that the yeast begins to ferment.
2. while fermenting the yeast, in a bowl mix the wheat flour, the sugar, the pinch of salt, the coconut oil, the zest of an orange and the juice of it. Finally, add two teaspoons of vanilla, mix manually or with the help of an electric blender until all the ingredients are well integrated.
Trick: If you wish, you can make gluten -free dead bread replacing wheat flour with gluten -free flour.
3. When the yeast has fermented, it will be time to add it to the bowl with the rest of the ingredients. It also adds potato puree, this will cause bread to have a very soft and spongy texture, mix until they are completely integrated.
4. You will notice that a very sticky dough begins to form, you should simply knead until it is no longer small and is elastic. You should know that it is very important that you do not add more flour, because if you do the bread it will be very dry. The kneading time will depend on whether you do it manually or with support of a blender with gacho, however, you must knead for about 20-30 minutes. Next, when the dough is ready, it passes to a clean bowl and let stand for about 20 minutes in a warm space so that the double dough in size.
5. When the dough has folded the size, put it on to remove the air it has generated. Then, divide the dough into 6 equal portions, with the aforementioned amounts yield for about 4 or 5 medium breads, but you can make them smaller or big as it suits you. Then, separate one of the portions to make the bones, blea each portion of dough and sees placing in a tray with baking paper.
6. For the bones, divide the portion of dough that you turned away in equal parts so that each bread has two bones and one head. Trick: If you have an oven that applies heat above and below, check the bread at 10 or 12 minutes and, if you are already golden, you can turn off the oven and let cool inside without opening it before.
8. When the loaves are perfectly baked, varnish with a couple of tablespoons of coconut oil and, immediately, sprinkle with sugar. You can enjoy this rich healthy dead bread!
