Ingredients to make sugar cake with dates:
1. Place vegetable or cow milk (in my case almond milk) in an electric blender and add fresh bone dates. Process until a kind of paste or butter of nuts. If you use confited dates instead of natural, they will be contributing artificial sugar to the cake for homemade diabetics.
