Santiago cake recipe

Ingredients to make Santiago cake
500 grams of ground almond
500 grams of sugar (2½ cups)
7 Egg units
150 grams of butter
150 milliliters of milk
1 tablespoon dessert of ground cinnamon
1 cup of sweet Jerez
50 grams of sugar glas

2. Stretch and a round mold is lined (a very fine layer has to be).

3. In a container the ground almond is mixed with the sugar and cinnamon and the cheroz is added and the six eggs mixing everything well.

4. Once a paste is achieved, we throw it on the mold and put in the oven not very strong until golden brown and the cooked base (we check it by clicking with a needle until it comes out clean), it will take us about an hour.

5. We remove it and let cool, take it out of the mold and sprink it with icing sugar.

6. In Santiago you usually put a pattern, with the cross or a scallop to mark it, it contrasts.
