Rose butter cookie recipe

Ingredients to make pink -shaped butter cookies:

1. To make our roses cookies, we put in a wide bowl the sugar, flour and pinch of salt. Cut the butter into pieces and mix with our hands, undo butter with your fingers until you get a sawdust texture.





2. We incorporate vanilla extract, egg and yolk. We mix with the hands until you get a homogeneous dough.





3. We form a ball with the dough of butter cookie roses, wrap in transparent film and reserve 30 minutes in the fridge.





4. We flour a work surface, extend half of the dough with the help of a roller, and if we see that the dough sticks to the roller sprinkle above with more flour. We will leave the fine dough and with the help of a round clipping of about 7 cm in diameter cut circles of dough (try that the circles are not much larger). We do the same with the other half of the mass of pink butter cookies (we will work better if we do not use the entire dough at the same time).





5. To form the rose-shaped cookies we will overcome a part of a circle on top of the other, we will continue with a third party and with a room as indicated in the photograph.





6. We will fold the edge of the first circle and roll until the end but without tightening, as you see in the photograph.





7. We will cut the rulo in half to have two halves of rose-shaped cookies.





8. Put with the petals up and open slightly, not in excess so that they do not open too much when baking.





9. We put the cookies of roses on top of a plate lined with baking paper and reserve in the fridge between 30 minutes or 1 hour.



Trick: It is very important that they are very cold when we are going to bake them.





10. Preheat the oven at 200 ºC. Bake the rose -shaped cookies approximately 10 minutes with heat up and down 200 ºC. The first minutes we will be pending of the oven and when we see that the cookies have been golden, we will cover with aluminum foil, we will lower the temperature to 180 ºC and let them continue to bake. Remove from the oven and let cool in a rack.





11. We can save the pink-shaped butter cookies that over a hermetic can for a week.
