Ingredients to make lemon cake:

1. Beat the eggs with the sugar until both ingredients integrate. If you prefer that the lemon cake is sweeter, you can add a little more sugar to your liking.



Trick: The meter vessel used for sugar and flour is yogurt.





2. Add the yogurt and keep beating. As we said, yogurt can be both natural and lemon, you just have to keep in mind that if you use the lemon flavor, the homemade cake will have an even more intense flavor.



Trick: Preheat the oven at 180 ºC.

3. Now, incorporate sifted flour with cornstarch and baking powder. If you don have cornfield, add a little more flour and voila. We add this ingredient to the recipe so that the result is more spongy.





4. Add the lemon zest and, finally, juice and vanilla essence. Mix to completely integrate all the ingredients. It is important to leave the liquids for the end so that the dough works better and rises properly in the oven.





5. Place the dough in a mold greased with butter or oil and bake the lemon cake for 40-45 minutes, or until it is ready. To check if it is done inside, click the cake with a wooden stick; If it goes clean, it will mean that you are ready.

6. While baked, if you feel like decorating the homemade cake, you can now take advantage of covering. To do this, you have several recipes for creams and frostings that you can do, however, the simplest is the one made with glasses and lemon juice. To make the glaze, you should simply mix a cup of impalpable sugar with lemon juice until you achieve a soft cream. 7. When the lemon cake is ready, leave it inside the oven with the door ajar about 10 minutes. In this way, the temperature will be regulated and will not lose volume when removed. Then, retir it, wait for it to cool and unmold.
