Jijona nougat muffins recipe

Christmas arrived and passed us quickly leaving us many of its typical sweets even in cooking cabinets (and of the kilos of more in certain areas of our body better or speak). Probably more than one does not want to continue eating nougat in January but that is not a problem! Because there are a thousand recipes to take advantage of them. In recipes, we learn this time to prepare some muffins with Jijona nougat (the soft almond nougat, in case there is a clueless) that are delicious and will be a great breakfast or snack, great day of the year. They are also very easy and fast to make so there is no excuse not to give way to that nougat tablet.

Ingredients to make Jijona nougat muffins:
1 Jijona nougat tablet (from 200 to 300 grams)
200 milliliters of cream to mount (1 cup)
200 grams of flour
100 grams of brown sugar
60 grams of butter
2 eggs
1 on chemical yeast ( driver) (16 grams)
ADDITIONAL CHARACTERISTICS: Cheap cost,

Ingredients to make Jijona nougat muffins:

1. We put in a bowl the eggs, butter, sugar and cream and beat until we get a homogeneous dough to prepare our nougat muffins.

2. We crumble Jijonas nougat and incorporate into the bowl. We mix until it is integrated. Nothing happens if there is a bigger piece. It is nice to find it in Jijonas nougat muffins, although this nougat is so fragile and pringoso that it falls greatly.

3. Finally, we add the flour and yeast and integrate without overbathing the dough. If it was very liquid we would add more flour and if a little milk is very thick. Everything will depend on the amount of nougat from Jijona that has our tablet and the fat that releases.

Trick: My nougat tablet was 300 grams.

4. We put our capsules in the tray for muffins and with the help of an ice cream spoon we fill them.

5. We introduce Jijonas nougat muffins into the preheated oven at 200 ºC and bake for 10-12 minutes. Then we lower the temperature and bake approximately 15-20 more minutes until the muffins are made.

6. Let the sweets temper with the oven door ajar of 5 to 10 minutes and then take out of the tray and let cool on a rack. If we put some kind of frosting above, you will get some impressive jijona nougat cupcakes.
