Ingredients to make Italian focaccia:

1. Place the yeast with honey, four tablespoons of flour and 1/2 cup of water, leave in a warm place to sponge very well.

2. Make a ring to the rest of the flour Put salt and pepper, place in the center the herbs with the oil and water that is necessary (provided that warm water will be used will facilitate the work of the mass of the Italian foccia).

3. Incorporate the yeast sponge and join everything very well working the mass of the Italian foccia with the hands until easily take off from them. There should be a tender, hard or soft dough. Then cover it with a clean canvas/rag and leave it in a warm place to be led. When you double the volume crush it again with your hands.

4. Take portions and stretch them with the help of a roller or kneading stick. These must have the same dimensions as the mold or plate that will be used to bake them.

5. Oil the mold or plaque well, cover with the mass of the Italian foccia that should be as fine as possible, on it put scattered the previously grated cheeses and sprinkling the basil leaves and the oil on top.

6. Cover the Italian foccacia with another layer of mass and press well on the edges or parts without cheese. Let ride in a warm place again.

7. Take to the hot oven (180 ° C) until golden brown.

8. Serve the Italian Focaccia a little hot. It can be accompanied by a mix of green leaves with balsamic aceto vinaigrette and olive oil for example.
