Grandma cookies ingredients:
1. As if to make any type of homemade cookies, it is important that the butter is soft, that is to say that it is at room temperature. If you do not have it that way, you can heat it in the microwave for 10-15 second until it has the right texture, which is not liquid but soft. We remove the flour and reserve these two ingredients separately.
2. To start preparing the dough, place the condensed milk in a bowl and mix it with butter, vanilla and egg yolk. We beat until the ingredients are integrated and we have a homogeneous mixture. If you want to make homemade condensed milk you can follow any of these recipes:- Home condensed milk
– Condensate milk with sweetener
– Lactose condensed milk
3. Following grandmothers instructions, now we add the flour little by little and knead until we get a uniform dough that does not stick in the hands. If you think more flour is needed, you can add it.
4. Next, extend the dough on a silver surface, previously sprinkled with some flour, until it is approximately half a centimeter. Use a roller to get it.
5. Now use a short pastes, a glass, or a knife directly and cut the cookies in the way you want. Grandmas cookies are usually round, simple, but if you dare, you can create cookies in thousands of ways according to the occasion.
6. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with vegetable paper and kitchen at 180 ºC for about 15-20 minutes or until you see that the edges begin to brown.
7. Let the grandmothers cookies cool on a rack and you will see how it is super crispy. You can keep them in a can or a hermetic container so that they last several days, but it is best to eat them freshly made.
