Desert roses are an easy dessert made with toasted corn flakes, a delicious dish where the protagonist are the classics Korn Flakes. Ingredients to make desert roses with Thermomix:
1. The first step to make this recipe with Thermomix will be to spray the sugar with the lemon peel. To do this, first place all the sugar in the thermomix vessel and speed at 5-7-9 progressively increasing for a few seconds, until the sugar has been completely ground. Then add the lemon zest and program for a few minutes at speed 9.
2. Next, add the rest of the ingredients, except cereals, and mix. First add the eggs, then the margarine, the flour, the baking powder and the thermomix program for a few seconds at speed 6. The result has to be a homogeneous, gentle and creamy mixture.
3. The last step of this delicious easy dessert will be to make small balls with the dough and batter them with the corn flakes. To get it you can empty the Korn Flakes in a bowl and throw the balls there until they are completely covered.
4. To end this dessert with Thermomix, bake desert roses. Place each rose on a tray and cook for 15 minutes at 180º temperature. Sprinkle with icing sugar and enjoy.
5. Accompany the desert roses with a little lemon ice cream or with ice cream yogurt and serve it as dessert after a family dinner or with friends. We recommend combining it with a light meal like a rice with salmon in prawns.
