Ingredients to make Chilean hallullas:
1. To make the base ferment, half a cup of water with sugar and yeast. Cover with a cloth and let stand about ten minutes until its volume doubles.
2. Apart, mix the rest of the water with milk and salt. Make a crown with flour and then add the yeast and milk mixture in the center. Knead until all ingredients are completely integrated.
3. Add the butter and knead until you get a smooth and soft dough.
4. Next, to make them hallullas, stretch the dough until you leave it 1 cm. approximately thick. Click the dough with a fork and cut square portions of about 10 cm. diameter.
