5 tablespoons of liquid caramel
260 grams of pastry flour
15 grams of baking powder
200 grams of sugar (1 cup)
120 grams of butter

Ingredients for cake with white chocolate coverage:

1. For this cake recipe with white chocolate coverage I decided to prepare a caramel and vanilla cake, but if you prefer you can opt for other less sweet cakes, such as a lemon cake. That said, we begin the preparation by beating the milk with the liquid candy and the sugar.





2. Add the eggs one by one and continue beating to integrate the ingredients. I use electric rods to facilitate work, but manual rods are equally valid.





3. We melt the butter in the microwave, add it to the mixture and continue beating to integrate it. At this point, we preheat the oven at 180 ºC with heat up and down.





4. Add the essence of vanilla to the mass of the cake without cream. If you want, you can add a couple of tablespoons of dulce de leche so that the cake is softer. In fact, I did so and obtain a delicious taste.





5. We sift the flour with the baking powder and integrate these ingredients with a spatula, making soft surround movements. For this step I do not recommend the use of electric rods, since they would spread the flour throughout the kitchen and lose amount of this ingredient.





6. We pour the mixture into the greased mold and bake the sponge cake without cream with heat only. In my case, the cake took about 45 minutes to bake, but depending on the oven the time can vary. After 30 minutes, we activate the heat above.





7. When ready, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool to unmold and decorate it.





8. For white chocolate coverage, we simply chop the chocolate and heat it a minute to the microwave. We move with a spoon and heat a little more if we consider it necessary. And if you want to give it a touch of brightness, add a couple of teaspoons of butter.





9. With the same spoon, we distribute the molten chocolate on the cake and let it fall, as shown in the photograph. If you prefer, you can also cover the whole cake and even fill it by cutting it in half. As you can see, making a cake with white chocolate coverage can be very simple, you just need to have some imagination and patience.
