Quiche Lorraine Vegana recipe

A quiche is a salted cake originally from French cuisine, traditionally with a creamy filling made from eggs, cream or milk cream and a broken dough base. The original Quiche Lorraine recipe comes from the French region called Lorena. From this base recipe that, apart from the main ingredients, carried black pepper and nutmeg as seasoning, all other variants proceed, including the subsequent version to which the bacon or smoked bacon pieces were added. This recipe tries to prepare a version Vegan of the traditional recipe without any ingredient of animal origin, in which we are going to replace its components in such a way that the creaminess and texture of the original Quiche Lorraine is preserved. For the filling I will use chickpea flour, which I have already used in many of my recipes for similar preparations, for example, to make vegan feta cheese or a vegan potato omelet. To replace the bacon we are going to marinate Tofu pieces to give them a rich smoked flavor, but you can also marinate thick textured soy or Tempeh pieces. This Vegan Quiche can become the star of any food or dinner, since it is an easy to elaborate recipe that will surprise your diners for their combination of flavors. You can serve this salty cake both cold and hot, as an incoming or accompanied by a vegetable garnish or a salad. If you like the idea, keep reading and discover in recipes how to make Quiche Vegana, a perfect dish for the appetizer.
