Chicken skewer recipe with yakitori sauce

To prepare this Japanese recipe we will use chicken breast and several Asian sauces such as soy sauce and mirin. Ingredients for chicken skewers with Yakitori sauce:

1. We gather all the ingredients to make the chicken Yakitori recipe. If you do not find the 7 Japanese spices you can mix a little chilli, ginger powder, sesame and ground black pepper.

3. We heat the Yakitori sauce in a pot and let it boil for 8-10 minutes to evaporate the alcohol of the mirin and thicken the sauce.





4. Apart, we cut the chicken breast into strips of a thickness of approximately 2 centimeters. We put salt and skewer the chicken breast in the bamboo sticks, as indicated in the image.





5. Brong the chicken skewers in a plate or pan with a little olive oil. We let the meat be seal on both sides. We take out and reserve.





6. We pass the Japanese chicken skewers through the Yakitori sauce and put them back in the pan until they are cooked on both sides.
